2026 African PRS Finale
NAPRA will be hosting the 2026 African PRS Finale in Windhoek, Namibia. Here are some guidelines on what an international shooter might expect should they be interested in attending.

Provisional Program:
10 April 2026: Registration & Sight-In: From 14:00
11 April 2026: Day 1 - Approximately 50 km West of Windhoek.
12 April 2026: Day 2 - Approximately 20 km East of Windhoek. The range is situated approximately halfway between Windhoek and Hosea Kutako International Airport.
Entry Fee:
80 USD / 80 EUR / N$1500
The entry fee is payable in cash at the time of registration.
Round Count:
A total of 160 competition rounds will be required.
We recommend bringing approximately 200 rounds to allow for zeroing and calibration.
Airport:
Hosea Kutako International Airport is situated within a 50 km radius of Windhoek.
Rifle Import:
Import Permits: These will be issued upon your arrival at the airport by the Namibian Police Force, located near the Arrivals Hall.
Invitation Letter:
After registering on Practiscore, a personalised invitation letter will be sent to you, designed to provide relevant information tailored to the specific permit requirements of your country.
Car Hire:
We recommend hiring a 4x4 vehicle due to the challenging road conditions to the ranges, which are situated on farmland.
Note: There is limited public transportation and hiring a vehicle is considered the norm. Our traffic volumes are relatively low; however, be aware that our vehicles are Right-Hand Drive as we drive on the left side of the road. The proximity to any required services within the town limits is easily accessible and Google Maps and routing functions are available.
If there is sufficient demand, we will consider organising a shuttle bus closer to the event date.
Accommodation:
As the event takes place during the high tourist season, we recommend booking your accommodation well in advance. There is a wide variety of accommodations available. There are plenty diners and restaurants available, offering a diverse range of choices.
Currencies and Cash:
Hard Currency is not widely accepted, but it is easily exchanged for local currency. However, consider that there is little need for cash on a day-to-day basis. Most transactions can be completed using a credit or debit card, and if necessary, money can be withdrawn from a wide range of ATMs.
Safety:
Namibia is considered one of the safest countries in Africa. There is minimal violent crime, but one needs to be aware that there is a component of petty theft. Once at the ranges, it is very safe. To sum it up, there's no need to be concerned, but be aware nonetheless.

There is access to Gunsmithing services in Windhoek, should you require support or assistance related to your weapons. We will be happy to advise in this regard. Unfortunately, our access to accessories and components is often very limited and one should not rely on their availability. On the positive side, our shooting community is always willing to assist.
